Title: Development of mobility

1
Development of mobility
  • Over 100 years mobility has increased from about
    1 km/day/cap to about 50 km/day/cap. We spend on
the average 80 min/day to transport ourselves.
Both forced and free mobility increase.
  • An increasing share of our money, energy and
space is used for mobility. Transport is also
    record high.
  • Mobility is not smart. An increasing part of
mobility is using cars and trucks, but all forms
    of mobility is increasing.
  • Modern society pretends that space does not
    exist!
