• They were told to meet them the next day at the

• Jews were put in cattle cars in bunches of 80 or
  90 people
• They were in there for 3 or 4 days with no food
  or water

• When they arrived at Treblinka they were
  separated into 2 groups
• They took the people that could not work to a
  path called the tube

• The Tube lead to the gas chambers
• The gas chambers killed about 800,000 Jews
• The killing took between 5-7 minutes

• A year later Treblinka 2 was opened
• Laborers set fire to Treblinka 2 in 1943
• Most of the Jews were killed
• Both camps were closed in 1943
