3Phase one reportJune 2000IntroductionThe
purpose of this project is to develop a new
Standardized Training Package (STP) to train
controllers to effectively carry out their duties
by using new equipment recently installed in
Tehran ACC.
4 Phase one report (Cont.) Course Aim This
course, followed by a minimum period of three
months On-the-Job Training (OJT) under the
guidance of a qualified ADS/CPDLC Controller,
will train area controllers to apply ADS/CPDLC
procedures in accordance with prescribed
international and national standards.

- To collect information the following
steps were taken - arrangement for observation of system and service
provided. - Studying and analyzing the relevant ADS/CPDLC
documents. - Holding 7 DACUM sessions with the participation
of the team members and SME, - All tasks were identified and their priority
determined, - All sub-tasks were identified and detailed in 8
modules.

- The main purpose of phase 3 is to find out
- The SKILLS
- The Knowledge
- The Attitudes
- already acquired by the target population as
well as their attitudes towards training and
their learning modes.
8During DACUM sessions, the team reached to the
conclusion that
- Phase four report

- There would be no need for any additional job
aids besides the system - Task performance objectives were derived
- Course objectives were distinguished from
post-course objectives - Test items were selected for mastery tests
- Intermediate objectives were derived
- Eight modules were specified based on the
32 required intermediate
objectives which lead to the identification
of 78 teaching points.
9 Module plans (Form 9) were prepared in
accordance with information furnished in Form 7.
This STP consists of nine modules including the
course introduction. The total time required
to deliver this course is about 74 hours and the
validation is scheduled for the period 18 April
to 6 May 2001. Although specific times have
been set for activities in the simulator,
instructors are encouraged to spend as much time
as they feel necessary to accomplish the
performance objectives.
