Changes for 2005 Reporting
  • Reports are based on the number of students
required to participate in the Grade 10 NHEIAP
    assessments.
  • Nonparticipation categories included students
  • who were absent or whose parents refused
  • who had a medical emergency
  • who were limited-English proficient and were in
the U.S. for less than 10 months (excused from
    Reading only)
  • Release 50 of common items, and produce strand
    subscore
  • Acceptable Yearly Progress (AYP) Reports will be
issued at a later date tentatively October 18
  • AYP Reports will include all data except AYP
designations. AYP designations will be issued
separately by the Department and posted on the
Department website. This will allow for
successful appeals to be noted without the need
    to change the reports.
