  the Land of Bremen
• - founded in 2001 by Land of Bremen (NUTS 1) to
  promote in Bremerhaven additional employment,
  qualification and vocational training especially
  for young people and other target groups of
  interest, elderly people for example
• - Supporting projects by European (ESF, ERDF) or
  Land of Bremen funds, Brag is also involved in
  URBAN II project Bremerhaven
• Consulting small and medium-sized companies,
  cofinancing of new jobs for older jobless people,
  unskilled unemployed people, with special regards
  on women

Objectives of our organisation Shareholder of
the company Council of Seestadt Bremerhaven.
Common objectives are - To contribute to a
high level of employment in the region of
Bremerhaven - To strengthen the Bremerhaven
local actors fighting the high rate of
unemployment (about 25 at present) -
Supporting Bremerhaven companies to manage the
adaption and reconstruction in main economic
fields of activity (by development of soft
skills)

Main activities - Coordination of a special
programme with regional actors (Arbeitsgemeinschaf
t-Job-Center Bremerhaven, Chambers of Industry
and Commerce, Bremerhaven Council, Land of
Bremen) for joint tackling the unemployment rate
of older people - Co-financing of additional
employment and qualification measures -
Financial Controlling of running programs in
Bremerhaven, giving advise and support to
institutions and companies which are involved or
interested
