What is NBPTS?
  • An independent, nonprofit, nonpartisan
  • organization
  • Governed by Board of Directors the majority of
    whom are classroom teachers
  • the most important action this country can
    take to improve schools and student learning is
    to strengthen teaching.

NBPTS Mission
  • To advance the quality of teaching and
