Eligibility for Apprenticeship
  • Attend an approved school
  • Provide copy of graduation certificate
  • Earn the RMT
  • Provide copy of certificate
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide copy of proof of age
  • Provide copy of high school diploma/GED
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week

Matching Process
  • Application periods January, May, September
  • Matching takes place via public webinar
  • Apprentices have 72 hours to accept
  • Placement begins within 30 days
  • Apprenticeship lasts for 2 years

  • Apprentice paid hourly on a schedule
  • Starting wage 7.50
  • After 4 months 8.25
  • After 8 months 9.00
  • After 12 months 9.75
  • After 18 months 10.50
  • Ending wage 12.00
  • Employer has option to add incentive pay
