History

• Midwestern Higher Education Compact (MHEC)
  awarded e-Transcript Initiative to Docufide in
  June of 2006
• In July of 2009, CEPI agreed to the MHEC ETI
  State Participation Agreement and contracted
  with Docufide
• All public and private high schools and
  postsecondary institutions in Michigan will
  receive free Secure Transcript services for
  interstate and intra-MHEC e-transcript exchange
  (with ability to send anywhere else at MHEC
  discounted student/alumni fees)

e-Transcript Initiative Overview

• The e-Transcript project will provide the
  ELECTRONIC exchange of student transcripts from
  high school to high school, high school to
  college and college to college as well as
  delivery to NCAA, Military, Scholarship funds and
  3rd party destinations
• Electronic Secondary School Reports will be
  exchanged between high schools and colleges
  universities
• Student transcripts will be standardized,
  authenticated, kept confidential, exchanged
  securely, and processed in a timely manner.
• All transcript requests/deliveries will be
  tracked throughout the process

Step 1 Access college registration by going to
www.docufide.com and clicking on the colleges and
universities link

Step 2 Click on the Register today link.

• Step 3
• Locate your organization by entering at least the
  name and state of your institution.
• Select search.
• Select your institution from the available list.
• Click Continue.

NOTE If your institution does not appear, click
on the link to add a new destination.

• Review and as necessary, update the contact
  information.
• Click Continue.

• Enter the primary users information.

• Select the PDF delivery format.
• Institutions can work with Docufide to update to
  XML, EDI or SFTP delivery.
• Click Continue.

• Review and accept the online agreement.

• Registration Complete!
• Upon registration verification, your account will
  be activated. Accounts are activated within
  24-48 business hours.

Once the registration is validated by Docufide,
you will access your account through the Sign In
link on the Docufide homepage at www.docufide.com.

From the main page, users will have access to all
Secure Transcript services, including their
Received Transcripts.

Receiving Transcripts

• Select the transcripts you wish to download as
  well as the delivery type.
• Click continue.

Transcripts are currently available in PDF
electronic format to college admissions and/or
either available data standard format (PESC XML
and SPEEDE EDI), selected under Preferences.

• NOTE
• The transcript always maintains a consistent
  format with the student information listed at top
  left.
• Fraud prevention is built-in with a unique ID
  and instructions on how to verify authenticity at
  www.docufide.com.

Delivery Options
Docufide supports a number of delivery options
to suit the needs of the recipient. By default,
Docufide provides a secure, easy to use download
interface for all registered recipients,
delivering transcripts in a standardized PDF or
data formats. Docufide also supports automated
delivery of transcripts through secure
FTP. Lastly, Docufide delivers transcripts in
XML or EDI formats through the Texas SPEEDE
server.
