Who are IIKT

• Informal Group
• Have been active in Knowledge Transfer KTP
• Supported by Westmarc as a pilot Scheme
• The purpose is to promote and support knowledge
  transfer in Information Infrastructure.
• Promotion of the benefits of knowledge transfer
  at Harrow Campus.
• Promotion of the benefits of work-place learning
  at Harrow Campus.
• Mentoring for Harrow staff who want to initiate
  and manage their first KTP.

• Part of Westmarc
• Mandate
• to support and manage Knowledge Transfer
  Partnership (KTP) activities in the University
• KTPs are Government funded projects to encourage
  KT between Academia and industry/trade/NGOs etc

Why are we doing this event?

• Knowledge Transfer has benefits to the Campus and
  the Academic
• To increase the funded external interactions from
  this Campus
• more links to the outside world are good for all
  of us
• To encourage dialogue and opportunities for
  collaboration
