- Robert Waterman
- Robert graduated from University with a degree in
accounting and has since spent time completing a
course at LBS for entrepreneurs. He entered the
world of boxing in 1997 by partnering with
respected promoter Jim Evans. They established
Evans and Waterman Boxing Promotions, licensed by
the British Boxing Board of Control. - In 2001 Evans Waterman entered into a joint
venture with Dennis Hobson Promotions and Fight
Academy was born. In 2002 agreement was reached
with the BBC to become one of their approved
promoters and, by 2004, Fight Academy had become
the premier promoter for the BBC. - When the BBC stopped covering professional
boxing, BSkyB immediately agreed to work with
Fight Academy. The first BSkyB tournament with
Fight Academy took place in September 2005 and
featured Clinton Woods successfully defending his
IBF world title.

- Robert decided to leave Fight Academy in 2006 in
order to further his vision of the future of
boxing. That vision is centered around two
factors Professional boxing will be focused
around a new axis and that new media will
revolutionise the boradcasting of boxing. - Robert Waterman is also the founder and largest
shareholder of Knockout Entertainment Ltd, the

- Clive Bernath
- SecondsOut Editor in Chief Clive Bernath has been
involved in professional boxing for more than 22
years. He is highly experienced and has worked
within the sport as a press and PR man for
various promoters as well as in event management
and as a supervisor and field representative for
on of the world governing bodies. - Clive also spent four successful years as BBC
Boxings official statistician for professional
boxing. - Rish ap Wiliam
- SecondsOut Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Rish ap
Wiliam has been developing internet technologies
for over 15 years and has worked on projects as
varied as a car parts ordering system, an online
Arabic-English Physics Dictionary to providing a

- Thomas Hauser is widely considered the most
gifted living boxing writer. He is the author of
32 books including Muhammad Ali His Life And
Times. In 2005, he was honoured by the Boxing
Writers Association of America, with the Nat
Fleischer Award for career excellence in boxing
journalism. He was the writer of the Hollywood
movie Missing, has been nominated for the
Pulitzer Prize and has a monthly column in The
Observer. Thomas describes writing for
SecondsOut.com as a chance to explore new
frontiers and deliver cutting-edge material to
website readers. - Paul Upham
- Paul is the voice of boxing Down Under, known for
his relentless dedication and enthusiasm for the
sport, which often involves talking to various
boxers at 3am. Upham is the Jeff Harding of
boxing writers, forceful, resilient and immovable
when a great story is at stake.

- Richie Woodhall
- Richie has won just about every amateur and
professional boxing title available to him. In a
career that spanned some 15 years, Richie won
Commonwealth Games Gold and Olympic Bronze medals
before turning professional in 1990 and winning
the Commonwealth and European middleweight crowns
as well as the WBC super- middleweight title.
Since his retirement Richie has become an
invaluable and respected broadcaster for the
BBCs boxing team, Setanta and SecondsOut.com. - Colin McMillan
- London born Colin is a former British,
Commonwealth and WBO world featherweight champion
and like Richie Woodhall, was an excellent
amateur. Colin reached the pinnacle of his career
in May 1992 when he produced a masterful display
to out-point Itialian Maurizio Stecca to become
world champion. And like Richie, since his
retirement, Colin has earned himself a reputation
as a respected and informative commentator and
analyst with SecondsOut.com and othe boxing
broadcasters.

France and the current head of boxing for
Eurosport television.

- The name Lou DiBella is synonymous with exciting
world championship fights and compelling

executive at HBO Sports, responsible not only for

Hoya, Roy Jones Jr, Shane Mosely and Prince

Florida, based company was formed some three
years ago, Warriors have made significant strides
