• There are not many prayers in the Bible that were
  uttered at or near the time of death.
• The Lord Jesus prayed while he was dying on the
  cross.
• Stephen was praying when he died.
• The prayer of Samson is totally different from
  the other death time prayers we find in the Bible.

  remember me.

• Samson had probably repented of all his wrong
  doings by the time of his prayer.
• REQUEST 2 STRENGTHEN ME
• Judges chapter 16 is full of references to
  Samsons strength.
• Judges 165, 6, 9, 15, 17, 19, 28
• In the context of Judges 16 we understand
  Samsons request was for physical strength.

• Samson was obviously a man of faith at this point
  for he is listed with the giants of faith. Heb
  1132
• REQUEST 3 LET ME AVENGE MYSELF UPON THE
  PHILISTINES FOR HIS TWO EYES.
• REQUEST 4 LET ME DIE WITH THE PHILISTINES
• Elijah (I Kings 194) Jonah (Jonah 43,8) asked
  God to let them die.
• Request was allowed because Philistines had
  praised their god Dagon for Samsons capture.

  prayers of those who have sinned if we humble
  ourselves and turn to God.
