Family Justice
  • Developments in family justice support and
    parallel the directions taken in SchoolPlus
  • Through a variety of Family Justice Services
    programming, Saskatchewan Justice seeks to
    promote resiliency in children following a
    separation or divorce. Programs include parent
    education, childrens education, and mediation.

  • Justice is involved in dealing with family
    violence through Interdepartmental Steering
    Committee funding and partnership with
    Saskatchewan Toward Offering Partnership
    Solutions to Violence (STOPS). STOPS hosted a
    conference in March 2003 which focused on
    gathering input from young women on approaches to
    prevent relationship violence.

    partnerships with 7 community organizations in
    Saskatoon, P.A., and Regina.
