• IPTV has been the grant agent for Star Schools
  funds for 11 years.

• Success of partnerships directly related to the
  general managers, department directors, and
  bureau chiefs who were willing to cede turf,
  forgo credit, and relinquish some control in the
  interest of fulfilling our collective educational
  missions.

Evaluating State Educational Technology Programs
Grant

• Iowa one of 9 states awarded grant to help states
  learn to conduct and procure high-quality
  evaluations of ed tech programs.
• IPTV role to help produce videos of model
  teachers and disseminate statewide through
  datacasting.
• Grant monies spent on tuner cards antennae for
  all Iowa school districts.
• Statewide roll-out over the next 3 years
