- A new point of sale system was needed to capture
food service sales and to manage inventory.
Wiring in the elementary schools needed to be
upgraded for this system - Wiring was completed in spring 2008
- PCS a new point of sale system began operation
August 2008 - Staffing changes in food service operation
delayed the implementation of on-line payments

- Implementation will begin in the Mountain Ridge
School district October 1st - We thought an entire district to begin
implementation would be better because a family
would be more likely to use the system if they
could use for all students in the family - Goal is to have the entire school system up by
the beginning of 2010 - Information will be mailed to parents and
guardians and information will be placed on the
web site - There is 1.95 per student transaction This
money goes to PayPAMS. The system makes no money
on this system
