• Reservations
• Go to www.ncs-tech.org
• Find Resources menu, click Laptop Carts,
  check the calendar, submit form
• You will get an email confirmation
• Unreserved carts as of 330 pm on a given
  Friday are available to all staff to reserve the
  following week

• Reservations (contd)
• Reserve in ½ (or full) day increments
• Scheduling / sharing as a team makes things
  easier
• Please remember to email me if you need to cancel
  a reservation

• Setup Breakdown
• Cart will be delivered to/removed from your room
  by NCS staff
• Connections two power cords, one network cable,
  two on switches (back)
• Please ensure there is space in the front of your
  room for the cart

• Distributing/Collecting laptops
• Student helpers OK in Grades 5-8 only (teachers
  decision)
• Grades K-4 adults only, please
• Distributing/Collecting takes 10 min., plan
  accordingly

• ALWAYS use Start Shut Down
• Put laptops go into numbered slots
• Plug in the power cords CRITICAL
• Cords should not rest on power bricks
• Lock the cabinet, secure the keys
• Turn off the two power switches (rear)

• Clear student desks
• Logon with Ctrl-Alt-Delete
• Work individually
• ALWAYS use Start Shut Down
• NEVER just close the lid

• Students can now print to color or BW printers
  located in the Computer Labs or the Media Center
• Printers are selected via the drop-down Name
  box under File Print

• Safety Security
• Lock the door when leaving your room if laptops
  are not secured in cart
• No food or drink nearby
• If students have eaten recently, please have them
  wash their hands
