Format

• Type paper in 12 times or courier
• Double space entire paper
• Include a running head every page must have
  last name and page number in upper right hand
  corner ½ inch from the top
• Heading The first page of the research paper
  has a four-line heading that lists your name,
  teachers name, course title, and the papers due
  date
• Title Center the title above the text. Only
  double-spaced from heading and text. Do not
  underline, bold, or italicize title- 12 font
• Sub title- if you have a subheading, be sure to
  use a colon

Format

• Margins use 1- inch margins at the top, sides
  and bottom of your paper
• Indention indent paragraphs ½ inch, 5 spaces or
  tab key
• Hyphenation do not hyphenate words at the end
  of a line
