• Streamlined look and feel

  results (no 500 record limit!)

Sign in to view your saved search histories.
All subscribed products display on the ISI Web of
Knowledge home page. Click Go to move directly to
the data source you would like to search.

Web of Science 7.0
Quick Search allows you to perform a quick topic
search of all records. (Replaces Easy Search)
Date and Database limits can be set before you
search. Search limits can be set as defaults.

New search limits can be set at any time
Link to the author index to select names to
include in your search
Group Author is included as a searchable field
The Source Title Index is searchable by keyword

Results Summary
Total of results found is displayed at the top
of the Results Summary. Up to 100,000 records are
viewable in any set!
Rank a set of results (up to 2000 records) using
analyze
Link to full-text directly from your search

Analyze Results
Analyze results by Subject, Author, Source,
Address, Language, or Publication Year
Up to 2000 records can be analyzed. Results can
be re-analyzed at any time.
Select which set(s) you would like to view, then
click View Records

Full Record
Click Create Citation Alert to be notified the
next time this article is cited
Navigate to Cited References, Time Cited or
Related Records
Full-text, holdings, and inter-product links are
organized to the side of the full record.

Citation Alert
Citation Alerts expire after 12 months and can be
managed from your Web of Knowledge homepage.
Set a Citation Alert to be notified the next time
an article is cited.

WoS 7.0 Related Records
Related Records results displays the total number
of references shared with the parent record.
Click the number to see which references are
shared.
Click View Record to link to the full record.

Cited Reference Search
Link directly to an index of cited author names,
cited work abbreviations, or a list of
abbreviations for titles indexed in Web of
Science.

Select the references you wish to include in your
search, then click Finish Search
Click View Record to link to the full source
record

Search History
Use the radio buttons to combine searches using
AND or OR. Use Advanced Search for complex set
combinations.
Click on the number to view any set of results
Click Save History to save your search history

Save Search
Sign in to save a history as a weekly or monthly
alert. The default alert type is Biblio (title,
author, source.)
Remember Alerts expire after 6 months. You will
be notified via e-mail two weeks before it
expires.
