Adobe Test Centre part 1 of 2

• Proposal should be approached in stages to run
  small pilots and build the project. The draft
  stages are
• a.       Start with the Adobe Certified Associate
  test for in-house MU students and staff. This
  would use the Certipoint licences (20 minimum
  bundle). We need to establish the price for this
  test package. NB We can adjust our prices to
  cover overheads.
• b.      We need to establish the physical
  location of the computer lab (e.g. Cat Hill media
  lab?) and what hardware, software requirements
  are needed.
• c.       We need to identify  the admin. Team to
  support the adobe process.
• d.      We need to identify a LCDA academic as
  the project Champion. They will offer the test
  to their students using Adobe Products at an
  additional cost. They will take the test
  themselves so they can then determine if any
  changes in their modules need to be made. (e.g.
  Magnus, Eddie? any multimedia courses using
  Adobe).
• e.      We are hoping to start the first pilot
  group(s) in Semester 1 (Sept.) 09-10.

• Phase II of the project will expand the test to
  the outside public. (e.g. MODnet members, LCDA
  and IWBL Alumni., Cat Hill LCDA Alumni., London
  Network partners, etc.)
• Phase III will add the Adobe Expert test with
  VUE test centres.
• gt IWBL Accreditation Cat Hill will work in
  conjunction with IWBL / Jean ONeill
  (Accreditation) to get the Adobe Tests rated for
  UK HE value. (NB currently done in America with
  ACA)
• Phase IV links to the Association for Learning
  Technology (ALT) with the CMALT programme (LT
  certification).

Adobe test centre costs

• Classroom license for the ACA qualification. 
  This means that over a 12 month period, you will
  have unlimited access to the exams, pre tests
  across Flash, Dreamweaver and PhotoShop. 
• This license covers 30 machines, and does not
  limit you to the volume you put through the exam
  (you could put all 1000 through this in 1 year if
  you wished to do so and charge x per candidate
  to sit the exam
•  The cost of the classroom license for 12 months
  is 1500.
