Definition

• Demonstrate the ability to create a metadirectory
  using a hybrid DIT via SAC tables and HRDB data
  using Zoomit Via software
• demonstrate that COTS products can access
  metadirectory data via LDAP
• demonstrate information update, access control,
  searching, modification in Zoomit

DIT Structure

• Organizations
• deep tree of ICs created from SAC tables and
  their inherent structure
• Person information
• flat and deep trees populated with person info
  from HRDB
• deep namespace person entries will reference
  entries in flat namespace

Questions To Be Answered

• Will SACs be sufficient to construct a deep
  organizational tree?
• Will SACs in HRDB records be sufficient to
  populate entries in deep organizational tree?
• What might be the best format for ou attributes
  in nihOrgPerson schema (e.g., OUCIT/CFB vs.
  OUCIT,OUCFB)?
• Is it better to use aliases or copies of
  information in the deep tree?
