• Points earned based on your GPA for each of five
  grading periods (1st, 2nd and 3rd Trimester
  Progress Report Cards and 1st and 2nd Trimester
  Report Card)
• 4.0 25 points
• 3.5 3.99 24 points
• 3.0 3.49 23 points
• 2.5 2.99 22 points
• 2.0 2.49 21 points
• 1.5 1.99 17 points
• 1.0 1.49 16 points

• 8th Grade Great America and BBQ

Deductions

• Late Library Books minus 1 point/wk
• Referral minus 2 points
• Saturday School minus 4 points
• Suspension minus 5 points
• Additional deductions may arise

Points earned back

• 1 hour community service 1 point
• Maximum 15 points per year
• Maximum 5 points per trimester
• Service must be PRE- APPROVED by faculty
  organizer
• Service recorded on a time card
  provided by organizer

• We will have treats/rewards for students
  throughout year who have enough points
• All points must be earned by Memorial Day
• To participate in 8th grade BBQ you will also
  need to have 100 points
