Information Process continuum There are six steps
to successful research Define/Locate/Select/Org
anise/Create/Evaluate 1. Define What do I really
want to find out? Read the assignment/task sheet
and highlight all keywords and other important
information. What do you have to hand into your
teachers? Who is your audience? What is the final
presentation to be? When is it due? Do you have
to hand in a draft before hand? Hint

will help you organise what you need to do 2.

know? Begin planning focus questions. Dividing
these questions into who, what, why, when, how,
where will give you some structure in your
planning As you investigate your task further
and find new information , you will add to these

organiser to organise these headings and give

questions begin a keyword list. As you
investigate your task further you will add to

the pages you find are about your topic and come

find articles just about Australia restrict your
