21Restructuring
In restructuring, the district undertakes a
major reorganization of a school, making
fundamental reforms, such as significant changes
in the schools staffing and governance. The
purpose of restructuring is to improve student
academic achievement and enable the school to
make AYP as defined in the states accountability
