• Carcam was created to provide insurance
  adjusters with a pre-surveillance tool that is
  cost effective and capable of 24 hour monitoring.
• Carcam vehicles are the same commonly used
  minivans driven by millions of people everyday.
  The difference between a Carcam minivan and an
  ordinary minivan is the covert digital video
  equipment installed inside. This equipment
  enables the Carcam vehicle to discreetly monitor
  activity at a given location, be it a residence
  or business 24 hours per day, 7 days a week in
  real time. Carcam video is captured in colour
  and is time and date stamped.
• Using Carcam video surveillance as a
  pre-surveillance tool, an adjuster is able to
  make an informed decision regarding further
  investigation requirements. Should the Carcam
  video and report indicate activity at a given
  location the adjuster may wish to assign further
  traditional surveillance to confirm employment
  and or activity at the residence. If however,
  the Carcam video indicated little or no activity,
  the adjuster may conclude that assigning
  traditional surveillance at that time would not
  be beneficial thereby saving on average,
  1,500.00 to 2,000.00 in investigative expenses
  associated with the file.

  residential and business locations where
  practicable, confirms or denies the presence of
  caregivers, confirms patterns of activity 24
  hours per day, and creates a time and date log of
  vehicle activity. We have deployed Carcam
  vehicles at residences and businesses alike, with
  positive results at a fraction of the cost of
  traditional surveillance.
• Many investigation assignments return limited
  results with the investigation fee averaging
  1,500-2,500.00. With Carcam, the flat fee is
  545.00 for 3 days of continuous observations.
  There are no additional costs to the adjuster.

• When it comes to traditional video observations,
  there is no substitute for the high resolution
  imaging of hi-definition video. With near
  broadcast qualities, hi-def. video exceeds all
  others that have come before it. This new format
  is called HDV and has more than two times the
  horizontal resolution of standard format video.
  This results in approximately four times the
  amount of pixels, providing high quality images
  in all lighting conditions.
• Channis Corporate Services has implemented HDV
  cameras in the field, setting a new standard for
  video surveillance. Our experienced
  investigators now have the best equipment
  available, enabling them to capture crystal
  clear, high resolution images. Photographic
  stills taken from the video are equally as clear
  and crisp. The advantages of HDV are undeniable.
  Sharper imaging provides for positive
  identification of individuals, license plates,
  vehicles, and observed physical activity, etc.
• In addition, we have installed a workstation for
  our clients to use which allows them to view HDV
  video in full screen view, without any loss in
  resolution. With standard definition video, the
  already inferior image is made worse in full
  screen viewing mode making positive
  identification of individuals almost impossible.
