Nottingham students said they wanted

• To experience all sorts of music
• More varieties of music.RB, Hip-Hop, Garage
• To use music technology
• To use a recording Studio
• Singing/recording - to make their own CD
• Stay to try instruments after school
• Space to practice guitar and keyboards
• To have a concert
• Competitions (X factor/Pop Idol etc)
• A big carnival throughout the city centre

• To play with other people
• To make a band (this came up many times) To
  have a go on all the instruments you want
• Instrumental lessons
• To learn to play anything
• To learn guitar
• To learn drums
• To learn, strings, woodwind, brass
• Go into more depth about some types of music
  rather than changing every couple of weeks
• A mix of organised and what you want
