Transport 21 Priority Projects

• Docklands Station
• Kildare line upgrading
• DART resignalling
• Clonsilla to Dunboyne/M3

Docklands Station

• Design completed
• Lodge for planning in March
• Commence construction in 2006
• Complete and operational in 2007
• Provides additional city terminal capacity
• Serves a rapidly developing residential/commercial
  district

DART Resignalling

• Increase the capacity of the central area from 12
  to 16 trains per hour
• Design office in place and planning commenced
• Commence work in 2007
• Complete by 2008 with minimal disruption to
  customers

Kildare Line Project

• Quadrupling of a key section of the Kildare line
  between Cherry Orchard and Hazelhatch
• Railway Order lodged in 2005 and public enquiry
  completed in February 2006
• Awaiting Inspectors Report
• Work to commence in 2006 for completion in 2009
• Adamstown and Park West stations to be completed
  earlier

Clonsilla to Dunboyne/M3

• Feasibility study completed
• Detailed design will commence in 2006
• Railway Order/Public Enquiry in 2007
• Complete by end 2009
• Scoping study to be undertaken for Dunboyne to
  Navan section

  Transport 21 deadlines
