19AREAS NEEDING IMPROVEMENT
20College will continue to
- Develop internal and external funds for the
enhancement of classroom technology. - Assist departments in increasing the number of
grant submissions and the amount of external
funding generated by research and creative
activities. - Allocate funds for faculty scholarly activities,
including grant preparation seed money, research,
and presentations at professional conferences. - Support, in conjunction with University College,
a Math Camp for students who are not college
ready for Math courses. - Develop Masters Degree Program in Criminology.
- Promote cooperative student transfer agreements
with regional community colleges. - Work with college departments to develop an
action plan to increase student retention. - Hire faculty and staff who will commit to the
mission and goals of the college and the
university.
