Mom, I dont know what to do, my throat is really
bothering me
Good Morning Sweetheart!
Well take care of it. Just rest for now and Ill
make you some breakfast and tea.

the recital.
You should wear the outfit mom bought you. Here

Girls, are you ready yet? Its time we get
going! We are going to be late for Christines
recital.

There, I think this outfit looks nice. I think I
am just about ready to get going. Too bad, I
still feel sick.

Peter Christine, you are so talented, you will
do very nicely.
Dad For Christines first recital, we thought
wed give our superstar a nice little corsage.
Christine Thanks mom and dad, its beautiful and
it matches my sweater so nicely. I just hope it
will be my good luck charm. I really need one.

Ok Peter, I guess this is it. I think I need to
find Mrs. DAuria and Ms. Gould when we get
inside.

Dont worry Christine. Its common for singers to
get a bit of a sore throat before performing. Why
dont we warm-up for a few minutes to get you
feeling a little more confident.
Theres our star singer!! Are you ready to
perform?
Actually, I am really nervous. My throat has
been bothering me all day and I am afraid I wont
sound too good.

tell you how proud I am of you. You have worked
really hard these past few months and have been
so dedicated to this recital. I cant wait to
hear you.
