Introduction
This year, the main theme of the IH learning
project is We are proud of being a Chinese
.After receiving this main theme ,we have
discussed what makes us proud of being a Chinese
to set the topic .We considered The Olympic
games will be held in Beijing in 2008 and The
Great Wall be the top seven wonders in the world
.However, we set The Space Technology in China
as our group topic because it affects the future
life of the human beings.

Information
Satellite our country launched the Dong Fang
Hong-1 satellite which was very successful, until
now, China has launched satellites of 15 types,
43 independently developed, widely applied in the
economy, the science and technology field, the
culture and the national defense development and
so on. On October 12, 2005 Shenzhou six was
launched successfully, carrying two spacemen Fei
Jun long(???), Nie hai sheng(???)and carrying out
more than a hundred items of outer space
experiments and it stopped for over 72 hours in
the outer space.

On October 15, 2003 Shenzhou five was launched
successfully. At 6 oclock on October 16 it
carried the Chinese first spaceman Yang Li
wei(???) back in triumph. The space technology of
China compares favorably with Russias although
it was developed at a later stage, it does not
represent being backward. American and Soviet
astronautic strives for hegemony began in the
cold war, in the 1950s. But China still has
successfully developed her own astronautic
enterprise.

Questionnaire Analysis
We gave out 30questionnaires. ?From questions
1-4, we know that most of the students know
something about the space technology of
China. ?From question 5, we know that most of the
students have a dream that in the next few years,
people from China can have a space walk in the
other planets. ?From question 6, most of the
students think, The Olympic games will be held
in Beijing in 2008, which is an honour. Few
students think Great Wall do not deserve to
congratulation . ?From question 7, few students
think that space technology will affect our
life, ?From question 8, we think that only few
students want to spend more money on space
technology of China. ?From question 9,we know
that most of the students are proud of being a
Chinese because of her space technology.

Our suggestions
After analysing the result, we found that most of
the classmates are proud of being a Chinese. One
of the reasons is the successful technology in
China. So we would like to introduce how great
the Chinese technology is Through the
power-point presentation, you would know more.
In addition, you may join the astronomy club.

Conclusion
Lastly, we found that most of the students are
proud of being a Chinese, because of the
successful space technology in China. For
example, the San Chou No.6 was sent to the space
and the Great Wall is one of the seven wonders of
the world.

Feelings
Leader Ron Tang It is the first time I have been
a group leader. I am very happy that I can lead
the group successfully and my classmates are also
very helpful. Artist Tam lok shun After this
project, I learned more about space technology
and also it helped me to make myself more
acquainted with my group-mates. Data collector
Lo yat fung ,Lawlict This time, my job is a data
collector. It is a very difficult job in the
project, but I can still be successful.

Secretary Yeung tin tim ,Kenneth In this
project, I think I am very happy to work with my
classmates, it let us prove ourselves Treasurer
Li Sze tat ,Jason After doing this project, I
have learnt what teamwork is and how to think in
a creative way. And also I know more about space
technology. But the difficulty is to set the
questions in the questionnaire. I.T. supporter
Wong lok yin ,Kelvin This project is difficult,
because of the English vocabulary. And also to
design the power-point presentation is difficult.
