CONUS-Based Expeditionary Force Active Directory
(AD) Training

• The following is the proposed training construct
  for CONUS-based Deployable Forces (DF) with
  organic IP-based data networks
• CONUS-based DFs with IP-based communications will
  deploy into Garrison to Install, Operate,
  Maintain Defend unit DF ADs to train and work
  as they would fight IAW Technical Authority (TA)
  2006-06.
• CONUS-based DFs will deliver Battle Command
  services in the Generating Force (GF) environment
  to sustain individual and collective training
  readiness.
• CONUS-based DFs will maintain SIPRNET DF AD in a
  persistent and fully populated state whereas DFs
  may opt to operate their NIPRNET AD in a
  persistent but nearly empty state.
• A DA CIO/G6 selected DF will replicate with the
  GF environment to import the CONUS Global
  Address List (GAL). FORSCOM will then provide
  the imported GAL to the remainder of the
  CONUS-based DFs.

• Server Administration Support to Tactical
  Deployable Systems  
• System Administration for mission-specific
  servers
• Provide and install hardware, operating system,
  and software for mission-specific servers.
• Maintain Storage Area Network, Network Attached
  Storage (e.g., home directories, workgroup
  shares) for mission-specific requirements
• Other Servers to Tactical Deployable Systems  
• Operate, maintain, and administer PDA, SMS
  (system management server), Streamed Video
  Server, Virtual Conferencing Server, Structured
  Query Language (SQL), and other servers.

Other DOIM Capabilities

• Provide insight in provisioning DOIM kind of
  service
• Assist in transition upon return
• Assist in deployment
• Support non-prime shift operations
