  • During Fiscal Year 2005, IMA and CFSC are
    conducting five pilot sites as precursors to the
    Army-wide implementation plan.
  • Part of the plan calls for the eventual
    transition to an all NAF workforce.
  • Group III includes the front line MWR Service
    Providers along with Special Interest Groups
    (e.g., Unions, CPOCs, CPACs, MERs).
  • UFM will succeed only with the full understanding
    of Group III and full support of MWR Directors,
    Division Chiefs, and the workforce.

  • Generate a common understanding of UFM among
    individuals in Group III, particularly the MWR
    workforce.
  • Establish and maintain credibility through
    consistent, timely, pertinent information.
  • Create a learning vehicle in order to improve UFM
    guidance.
  • Garner long-term and broad-based support in Group
    III for the UFM initiative.
