  • A. The Scenario Process
  • B. Results Pictures
  • C. Results Peak Ozone Values
  • D. Discussion on these Results

The Scenario Process TCEQ Runs
base4a.regular
unadjusted
base4a.pt_o2n2_070pbl
adjusted
  • - HRVOC-NOx adjustment to point source emissions
  • - 30 pbl reductions on all days except August 30
  • Profiler-based adjustment on August 30
  • Both cases were run at UH. Average difference
files showed very small (10 -10 ) differences
    between results.
  • Sensitivity testing will be performed on the
adjusted case because it more accurately
    reflects reality.

25
Summary
  • For VMT-20 3 days show some increases in ozone,
and one day (Aug. 31) only shows decreases in
    ozone. Need to understand why.
  • For the VMT Mix Sensitivity changes are less
    than 1 ppb.
  • Impacts of these changes will be different if
    implemented AFTER other SIP rules.

26
Discussion Issues
  • Need to understand TCEQs run for future case
    ozone. (fy07b.pt_har37e55_070pbl).
  • Need to consider point source scenarios along
    with mobile.
  • Need to consider comparing CAMx to CMAQ.
