7Other actions
- Park Ride
- Car ownership has risen in Estonia as well as in
Tallinn. Today in Tallinn there are almost 400
cars per 1000 inhabitants. This trend was
influenced by urban space enlargement and slower
development of public transport service in fringe
areas. That causes road capacity problems
especially during peak hours. In order to deal
with this problem, Tallinn will introduce park
ride system in the near future. - Bicycle lanes
- there are currently 140 km of bicycle lanes in
Tallinn - we have annual plans for building new bicycle
lanes.
