• The software
• - The software that we are looking at
  implementing into our department is CMMS,
  Computer Maintenance Management System
• - The two companies that we have compared CMMS
  programs from are Micromain and EPAC

• What will be its function in petPRO
• - Will provide automated work orders, preventive
  maintenance scheduling, asset histories,
  inventory and budget control, fleet management,
  comprehensive reports and more

• How did the template effect our decisions?
• It allowed us to look at the different
  functionalities of the two programs, and compare
  them.
• We were able to compare the financial costs of
  the different programs.
• Helped us to see the differences between the two
  programs, using the rating system.

• Decision Steps
• Researched the two programs.
• Filled in the template.
• Used auto-filters and pivot tables, to compare
  the two software programs.
• Found that they are very similar, but decided
  that Micromain is the better choice.
• - Micromain is the better choice because of
  lower costs as well as a higher rating.

• Criticism of the template
• It was helpful, but some of the information was
  not relevant.
• Some information was not available. Ex. Executive
  contact information was hard to acquire.
• What would we change?
• Have it more customized to who is using it.
• Change it to be more relevant to each individual
  department. Some information that is relevant to
  us, may be irrelevant to others.

• Possible downtime, due to longer than expected
  training time
• Possible problems with integrating it with the
  current system

• Recommendations
• We recommend Micromains CMMS as the cost was
  lower, they had more customer base, and greater
  functionality. The two programs were very similar
  but we found Micromain to be a step above.
