Customer Accomplishments Environment and
Technology Facultys are both happy to transfer
management and ownership of the Portland LRC to
IS. Faculty given permission to purchase Student
PC upgrades to replace all Celeron PCs.
Customer activities and key dates 22nd March -
International Office, UAE event. 25th March -
Arts Plus - Architecture and Conference and
Lettings event
Issues and outages Network upgrades no
issues. Power Outages no issues. Printing
Outages no issues.

IS Accomplishment Fourth month of stable Mac
logins. Printed test samples for Large Format
Printing, Marketing to pay for trial period
samples. Completed standard image for Intel
Macs, started rolling Intel iMacs out the staff
and students..
Future planned work and exposure to
risks Network shutdown 20th - 24th April XP
Project rollout including upgrading staff print
queues to NP4 - limited overall
disruption.Transfer of services from WinNT
Domain to Windows 2003 / Active Directory halted,
due to Verdi backups not being completed, licence
issues - possible severe disruption. Possible
staff and resource issues due to Faculty changes.
Team structures currently being discussed.
Customer and Business Concerns/Status/Accomplishme
nts The Faculty highlighted their strong
concerns regarding the loss of any local IS
support in Portland. The Dean and HoDs will be
writing to Andrew requesting that IS consider
geographic IT support.

Risks / Issues Action Plans Windows Server
2003 service moves placed on hold until backups
can be completed. LRC Map Database, with AP
leaving we no longer have resources for this
project. Stephen Hall leaving the team means we
lose our LFP expert. All Mac software to be
tested on all Intel Macs.
