  • Tone - A sound of distinct pitch, quality, or
    duration a note
  • Chord - A combination of three or more pitches
    sounded simultaneously
  • Harmony - A combination of sounds considered
    pleasing to the ear
  • Tempo - The speed at which music is or ought to
    be played
  • Slur - A mark connecting notes that are to be
    sung to the same syllable, made in one continued
    breath
