Rules
  • What is a foul?
  • When access contact is made from a player to
another player. Remember it is not a foul unless
the official calls it a foul. When a foul is
called the team is awarded free-throws or the
ball out-of-bounds. There are two types of fouls
    non-shooting fouls and shooting fouls.

6
Rules
  • Shooting Fouls are when a player is fouled in the
act of shooting or fouled while his or her team
is in the bonus or double-bonus.
  • Non-Shooting fouls are when a player is fouled
and he or she is not in the act of shooting nor
his or her team is in the bonus or double-bonus.
In this case, the team is awarded the ball on the
    sideline or baseline.

7
Rules
  • When is a team in the bonus or double-bonus on
    fouls.
  • A team is in the bonus when the opposing team has
7 9 fouls. During this time the team is awarded
1-1 free throw for all non-shooting fouls.
  • Double-Bonus fouls are when the opposing team has
10 or more fouls. In this situation every fouls
    is a 2 shot foul.

8
Rules
  • All free-throws are worth 1-point a piece
  • Each field goal is worth 2 points, unless it is a
field goal made behind the 3-point line.
  • If a person is fouled and he or she makes the
basket while the foul is made, basket counts and
he or she is awarded a free-throw.

9
Rules
  • How does a player foul out?
  • Each player is allowed 5 fouls in a game.
Technical fouls are counted to the players foul
count. Once a player receives his or her fifth
foul he or she is no longer allowed to play in
    that game.
