• VEDOP 1 has been launched in 1998
• 153 big Tax Offices in 25 cities
• Client-Server architecture
• 8,000 workstations
• With the Turkish Unique Tax Identification Number
  Project, every tax payer has given a unique
  number
• Allowed Revenue Administration to track tax
  payers country-wide, increasing tax collection
• CyberSoft won the Computerworld Honors 21st
  Century Achievement Award in the Government
  Non-Profit Organizations category with the
  Internet Tax Office project in 2003.

• VEDOP 2 has been launched in 2004
• 1000 tax offices
• Web based architecture
• e-Beyanname allowed tax payers to declare their
  tax returns using Internet
• Data warehouse allowed Revenue Administration to
  easily track trends and set policies according to

Short Message Notification Service

• Revenue Administration Short Message Notification
  Service (GIB KMBS- 1189)
• Allows tax payers to calculate Motor Vehicle Tax
  (MVT) amount for their cars by sending a short
  message including their car plate number
• Tax payers also can query their MVT debts and
  traffic fines
• Tax payers can also subscribe for tax related
  news and up-to-date information
