One sunny Summers Morning, Mum set out to water
the children.

Mummy waddled across the garden.

Next, she watered them and they grew really
quickly.

Suddenly, she got to the last plant and realised
he had been planted on the wrong side of the
garden.

Mummy looked at all her children.

Then two of her children began making fun of the
odd one out because he was different.

The odd one out turned himself upside down to be
like the others.

But they only laughed as they saw him try to be
like them.

Then they made fun of him by trying to look like
him.

They danced and laughed.

Bert was very sad and upset because, they were
making fun of him. It wasnt his fault he was
different to them.

He fell on the floor, on his front, on his face.

Soon Bert was walking on the hill, on his own.
He was very lonely and very sad.

He stopped and stared at the ground before
climbing unhappily on to the bench.

Then suddenly Berts daddy came with all his
children.

Bert turned around and thought to himself Hip,
Hip, Hooray.

After that he pounced up in the air and into his
daddys arms.

Berts daddy showed him his children. Bert was
very surprised and excited.

Bert gave his daddy a ginormous hug.

Bert and his real family went back to their home.
