How did we find out about PAA?

• via ICS mailing list
• PAA needed help developing their website

Should we start from scratch?

• A little Demo contains PAA objective, members
  information, and Links.
• Using Macromedia Director
• Decided to take parts of their presentation such
  as content and graphics
• Present Demo

The intended modifications

• We used PAAs original demo as a basis for their
  new website
• Kept the contents
• Kept some of the graphics
• Include additional information such as upcoming
  events and their activities.

How we satisfied the assignments criteria

• CSS styles

• used in the template for all pages
• e.g. body.css, td.css

• Rollover button on the navigation bar
• Contact page with pop up menu

• Improve on the design using
• Navigation bar for easy access
• Layout does not get flooded with unnecessary
  graphics
• background and font colors are in contrast to
  make it easier to read
• Use of table to control the layout

Why we modified the page?

• We tried to preserve the original contents as
  much as possible because of the clients request
• The background and font in the original demo is
  too dark and makes the user unable to read it
• The original demo is too big 12 mb
• Too many graphics in the demo
• Our client requested an upcoming events section
