• ONROAD RC TRACK DESIGNS
• Designed by Tom Kelley for the DRCCC
• Small to large layouts
• Small layouts suitable for electric only
• Large layouts suitable for nitro and electric
  racing
• Traditional RC tracks have only 1 possible
  layout, we decided to try a design that allows
  for multiple layouts with fixed islands that
  use painted in curbing raised from the surface.
• Barriers are simply rearranged internally to
  create multiple layout possibilities.

EXPLANATION OF TRACK ELEMENTS

• ISLANDS
• Usually painted green or grass area
• FENCE
• For spectator protection
• INTERIOR BARRIERS
• Used for lane separation, plow discs, curbing
  (candy cane) or dots may be used alternatively
  or in conjunction with islands
• OUTER BARRIERS
• Used for stopping vehicles from leaving the track
  area
• LAYOUT EDGE LINES
• Painted edge lines provide visual indication of
  layout direction to drivers
• TIMING AND SCORING
• Area for race director and lap counting
  equipment/ P/A system
• DRIVERS STAND
• 3-8 elevated standing position for at least 10
  drivers.
• CENTERLINE OF TRACK
• - the middle of the driving lane
• PITS 56(10X10) EZUP TENTS
• Pit area for all participants. Typically
  participants bring their own EZ-UP tent for
  shade with tables and chairs.
