Title: Blue Peter Bring and Buy Sale

1
Blue Peter Bring and Buy Sale
  • Organised by Year Three

2
The Cake Stall
  • Mrs Galloway found it hard to choose which cake
    she fancied.

3
The Art Stall
  • The Art Stall was selling a range of items
including rulers, sparkling pencils and felt
tips. The most popular item has to have been the
    book marks made by Simon.

4
The Art Stall
  • Miss Hulme even had the chance to pass the time
of day with one of her class members.

5
Games and Toy Stall
  • The toy stall had so many small toys we put them
into a bin for the children to root through.
Once the bin was empty we even sold the bin!!

6
The Book Stall
  • The boys on the book stall had so many books they
    kept sliding off.

7
The Book Stall
  • The boys were kept very busy right through the
bring and buy sale. They were very patient with
the little ones. They took care to help them
choose their books and sort out their pennies.

8
The Cake Stall
  • There were so many cakes to sell that half of
them had to be kept under the table until there
was room for them. Everyone had at least one
    cake to eat!

9
Girls Shopping
  • It is very important for a young lady to discuss
her purchases with a friend when she has been on
    a shopping trip!

10
The Hair Braid Stall
  • The girls on the Hair Braid Stall completely sold
out. Most of the girls in the school could be
seen with at least one braid in their hair.

11
The Cake Stall
  • Mrs Galloway finally chose the mars bar cake. As
you can see she is thoroughly enjoying it.

12
The Blue Peter Bring and Buy Sale
  • The hall was bristling with excited children who
wanted to spend their money and help raise money
    for the Blue Peter Appeal.

13
The Teachers
  • Mrs Jackson and Mrs Galloway took the opportunity
to have a look for some toys for their classrooms.

14
The Soft Toy Stall
  • The boys on the soft toy stall were kept very
busy! People had been very generous when
    donating their toys.

15
The Games and Toys Stall
  • There were so many toys donated for this stall
that they not only filled two tables but also the
    floor in front as well!

16
The Games and Toys Stall
  • There were so many keen customers that the boys
found it hard to serve them all quickly!

17
Treasure Hunt
  • Two of the girls carefully drew a lovely treasure
map. The children enjoyed picking their squares
    for their treasure.

18
Water
  • We must not forget the reason for all this
enjoyment. We are raising funds to help give
people in poor countries clean water to drink.

19
The Bring and Buy Sale draws to a close
20
The Cake Stall
  • By the end of the bring and buy sale there was
    not a single cake left!!

21
The Art Stall
  • The boys on the Art Stall sold all of their
goods. They were very proud of their takings at
    the end of the day.

22
The Hair Braid Stall
  • The Hair Braid stall also completely sold out.
All the girls were left with was a pile of
    plastic bags.

23
The Book Stall
  • The bring and buy sale started off with an
enormous pile of books. By the end there were
just a few lonely books left on the table.

24
The Cake Stall
  • ALL GONE!!!!

25
The Hair Braid Stall
  • Yet another stall which completely sold all of
    its goods.

26
Games and Toy Stall
  • The boys went from a table overflowing with toys
to just a few little bits. Well Done Boys!!

27
A GREAT SUCCESS!!
  • The Bring and Buy Sale has been a great success.
All of those who took part really enjoyed
themselves. We should say a very big WELL DONE
to Year 3 who did all the planning and
organising. A big thank you also goes to those
who came to spend their money. The grand total
    raised was
