• Absolute Location 35 degrees S to 37 degrees S
  and 139 degrees E to 138 degrees E
• Relative Location South of Adelaide and is
  surrounded by the Investigator Straight and the
  Southern Ocean and is west of Lake Alexandria.

Australia has a wet climate, high amount of
vegetation, and doesnt have that bad of an
impact of land use in this region compared to
more urban areas.

Whale Watching
Whale watching is an exciting and educational
thing to do in the Fleurieu Peninsula. Encounter
Bay is a popular breeding ground and whales can
be spotted at the Whale Watch Center during the
months of June and mid-September. Whale watching
can be very dangerous but if done correctly, it
is a very neat experience

• Average daily temp in winter- around 16
  degrees Celsius
• Has warm dry summers
• Average daily temp in summer- around 24 degrees
