1About Thomas College Thomas Colleges mission is
to prepare students for success in their personal
and professional lives, and for leadership and
service in their communities. The private,
career-oriented College is committed to preparing
its undergraduates for careers in business,
technology and education. On average, 94 percent
of Thomas graduates are hired in their field of
study within 90 days of graduation. The College
is so confident its undergraduate students will
succeed that it guarantees employment in a
students chosen field of study through a
Guaranteed Job Placement Program. In addition to
the career-specific and liberal arts
undergraduate courses, Thomas offers graduate
degrees and continuing education courses. These
programs serve a variety of professionals in
central Maine who typically attend class while
working full time and volunteering in their
communities. In 2006, Thomas enrollment of 957
included undergraduate, graduate and continuing
education students. The College is accredited by
the New England Association of Schools and
Colleges and is authorized by the state to award
a Master of Business Administration degree,
Master of Science, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor
of Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in
Arts. A Thomas education is a complete
experience. Students have access to a thriving
academic community, supportive campus life,
diverse business internships, an assortment of
athletic opportunities and an introduction to
community service. With an average class size of
17 and a student to faculty ratio of 151, Thomas
provides personalized attention, helping students
realize their potential and secure well-paying

The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) is committed
to promoting good sportsmanship and developing
and maintaining a safe and healthy environment
for competition. We believe the opportunity to
represent a NAC institution is a privilege, which
is accompanied by the responsibility to act with
dignity, integrity and respect at all times.
Individuals associated with a NAC member
institution are expected to conduct themselves in
such a manner that represents the highest level
of honor, and to observe the tenets of good
sportsmanship, honesty, fairness, dignity,
civility and respect. Integration of athletics,
academics and accomplishment provide each of our
institutions and its athletics participants a
rewarding experience. The Conference expects the
values of good sportsmanship on the part of
student-athletes, coaches, administrators,
spectators or any individuals associated with a
member institution. The Code of Ethics is
designed to foster an environment that encourages
reasoned discourse, intellectual honesty,
openness to constructive change and respect for
the rights of all individuals. NAC
Sportsmanship 1. Observing and supporting the
rules of the game. 2. Promoting the spirit as
well as the letter of the rules. 3. Placing
fairness first as a goal in all competition. 4.
Taking personal responsibility for high standards
of play and conduct. 5. Showing civility toward
competitors, coaches and officials. 6. Playing
cleanly while playing hard. 7. Showing maturity
and integrity in conduct on and off the field of
play. 8. Being a gracious competitor and
accepting both wins and losses with dignity.
The NCAA and the North Atlantic
Conference promote good sportsmanship by the
student-athletes, coaches and spectators at
todays contest. We request your cooperation by
supporting the participants and officials in a
positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist
comments, or other intimidating actions directed
at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team
representatives will not be tolerated and are
grounds for removal from (site of competition).
