2
Dispatching Rules
Use dispatching rules to determine in what order
jobs are assigned.

3
Weighting Scheduling Parameters
You can specify weights for various criteria by
which Asprova chooses among multiple candidate
resources for a job.

4
Scheduling Parameter Options
You can make specify detailed settings to control
finite/infinite capacity, assignment directions,
temporary fixing of jobs, assigned resources,
production time calculations, and what to do in
case assignment fails.

Fixed Job Oriented Scheduling
By moving Product C-Packing Forward 2 days,
Product C-Mixing also moves forward 2 days
If you fix a starting process job, jobs for all
later processes will be scheduled forward. If you
fix a final process job, jobs for all earlier
processes will be scheduled backward. If you fix
a middle process job, jobs for later processes
will be scheduled forward, while jobs for earlier
processes will be scheduled backward.

6
Automatic Job Division
You can specify a job division quantity for each
combination of resource and item. Jobs which take
a long time can thus be automatically divided and
processed in parallel on multiple resources to
shorten lead times and avoid lateness.

7
Resource Quantity
You can register as resources any non-consumable
thing in the factory that can be used in
production. Each resource that you register has
associated with it a resource quantity, which
represents the number or quantity of the resource
that is available for use. You can also define
the amount of resource quantity consumed by each
job to be a number other than 1.

8
Production Time Rounding
  • You can specify a unit for rounding production
start and end times so as to always start
production right on the hour or minute.

9
Max Production Suspend Time
  • You can specify a maximum amount of time for
which production can be suspended for breaks and
so on. This can be used to avoid decomposition,
transformation, or premature drying of partially
    completed items.

Setup Resources
You can control constraints relating to workers
or other resources which are used during setup
for a job. For example, if there are 2 setup
workers and 1 must be present for each setup
operation, you can create a schedule that ensures
that no more than 2 setups occur at once. You can
also make detailed availability settings, where,
for example, 3 setup workers are available during
the day, but only 1 is available at night.

11
Multiple Machines Per Worker
You can specify constraints, for example, where 1
worker can operate up to 3 machines at once, or
where 2 workers together can operate up to 5
machines at once.

Inventory Graph
Displays for each item production, consumption,
shipping, receiving, and actual inventory levels
in graphical and numerical format. You can
customize various aspects of the display,
including aggregation periods, aggregation by
item group, included items, display order, and
display content. If you input on-hand inventories
and future purchase plans, these will be
reflected in the inventory graph.

13
Resource Gantt Chart
Displays the schedule resource-by-resource,
showing clearly the order of jobs on each
resource. You can customize various aspects of
the display, including the strings displayed,
display colors, included resources, display
order, and display content.

14
Job Movement
You can easily move jobs by dragging and dropping
with the mouse. Jobs that have been moved are
automatically fixed, so that the next time you
reschedule, earlier and later jobs will
automatically move to accommodate the changes you
made and correct any broken constraints.

15
Push to Right or Left
  • You can select multiple jobs and push them all to
the right or left, eliminating any spaces between
    the jobs.

16
Lot Gantt Chart
Displays the schedule lot-by-lot, showing clearly
the ongoing progress of the lot, including its
production start time, production end time, and
the resources used in between. You can see how
the lot's production end time compares to its due
date and modify the lot's due date or earliest
start time by dragging with the mouse.

17
Load Graph
Displays the load on resources in graphical and
numerical format. You can customize various
aspects of the display, including aggregation
periods, aggregation by resource group, included
resources, display order, and display content.
www.asprova.com
18
Lateness Graph
Displays for each item or customer a histogram
showing how many lots were completed early or
late with respect to their due dates.
www.asprova.com
19
Wait Time Graph
Displays a histogram showing the distribution of
wait times for jobs, according to the item
produced or the resource used for production.
www.asprova.com
20
Lead Time Graph
Displays a histogram showing the distribution of
wait times for lots, according to the associated
item or customer.

Bill Of Materials Editor
Displays the structure of the parts table (bill
of materials) in graphical format. You can add,
delete, cut, copy, and paste processes through
easy mouse operations. You can double-click on
nodes in the structure to edit data from the item
table, parts table, and resource capacity table.
