Look for a Job
  • You can look for a job in your default queue
  • You send a command FJ to the system
  • You can also look for a job in other queues you
    are a member of
  • You send a command FJ CBD to the system if you
    are also a member of CBD queue
  • The system returns a list of available jobs to
    you and each one will have a job ID, a brief
    description of the job and the priority.

Take a Job
  • After looking at a list of jobs, you can take a
    job by sending a TJ command with the job
    number.
  • For instance, TJ 23 to take job with the number
    23.
  • The system sends two SMS messages to you, one
    contains all details for you to perform the work
    and the other contains other information
    important for the worksheet.

Report Job Status
  • You can at any time report the status of a job
    you are performing by sending a status report to
    the system using JS command with a message.
  • For instance, JS 23 waiting for parts

Report the Completion of a Job
  • When you completed a job, you can report the
    completion by sending a JC command.
  • For instance, JC 23
  • You can also combine this command with an FJ
    command by add a letter Y at the end of the
    command.
  • For instance, JC 23 Y, system will send you
    more jobs as if you have issued a FJ command.

Return a Job Already Taken
  • If you want to return a job you already took (say
    job 23), you can return it to the system by
    sending a RJ command.
  • For instance, RJ 23
  • You can also add a brief message to describe the
    reason for returning the job.
  • For instance, RJ 23 No right tools.

Sign Out
  • You may want to sign out one or all queues if you
    dont want to system to send you any jobs and
    messages.
  • You send a command SO to the system to sign you
    out all queues you are a member of.
  • If you only want to sign out a specific queue
    (for instance, CBD queue), you send a command SO
    CBD.
  • You need sign in if you want to come back again.

Operator Assigned Jobs
  • In addition to the jobs you take, operators
    (foreman) can also send you jobs by sending you
    SMS messages as if you had issued a TJ command.
