    Bring your portfolio and expect a crowd. Many
    schools interview by committee. Dress
    professionally and conservatively.

After the Interview
  • If you had a campus interview with an
    administrator, it is OK to follow up.
  • DO NOT, however, be a pest.
  • A Thank you card is always classy.
  • If you havent heard from anyone in a week (and
    the principal told you that was their timeline),
    it is OK to call and ask if the job has been
    filled.

  • Do your research first, not at the interview!
  • Be your own advocate- How do you stand out from
    the rest?
  • Look your interviewer in the eye, be honest and
    from the heart
  • Ask where you can get training over the summer
  • Dont expect to get the first job your apply for
  • Dont be a pessimist
  • Dont ask if you answered the questions correctly
