- Job Fair interviews are usually brief and
non-specific as to school and subject. Bring
plenty of resume copies and dress professionally.
I received many a call from our personnel office
after job fairs.
- District or campus interviews are the real deal.
Bring your portfolio and expect a crowd. Many
schools interview by committee. Dress
professionally and conservatively.

14After the Interview
- If you had a campus interview with an
administrator, it is OK to follow up. - DO NOT, however, be a pest.
- A Thank you card is always classy.
- If you havent heard from anyone in a week (and
the principal told you that was their timeline),
it is OK to call and ask if the job has been
filled.

- Do your research first, not at the interview!
- Be your own advocate- How do you stand out from
the rest? - Look your interviewer in the eye, be honest and
from the heart - Ask where you can get training over the summer
- Dont expect to get the first job your apply for
- Dont be a pessimist
- Dont ask if you answered the questions correctly
