To Know Them

• Obvious Must Know Who They Are.
• To Know Many Uses. (Psalms 16)
• Were To Know (Appreciate) These Men For What
  They Are.

Esteem Them

• Not So Much For The Office (1 Tim 31).
• A Man Is No Greater After Appointed To The
  Eldership.
• Men Become Great Because Of What They Do.
• This Very Passage And that you esteem them
  very highly in love Because Of Their Work.

We sometimes Forget What Elders Do!
- The Responsibilities They Accept -

• The Responsibility Is The Emphasis In The Mind
  Of Good Elders.
• Sometimes Men Who Seek The Position For The
  Honor They Suppose Goes With It.
• The Lord Speaks Of It As A Work To Be Done.
• Therefore We Are To Respect The Work They Do And
  The Responsibility They Bear.

Hebrews 1317

• Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they
  keep watch over your souls as those who will give
  an account. Let them do this with joy and not
  with grief, for this would be unprofitable for
  you. (NASB)
• Obey them that have the rule over you, and

• The Word Elder Is Not Used. But It Does Speak
  Of Your Leaders. (NASB) Have The Rule Over
  You (KJV) No Other Group Has The Rule Over
  You Therefore Were Talking About Elders.
• The Idea Is To Obey And Submit

• If Qualified Men, They Are Worthy Examples Of
