UNITED COATINGS - Company History
Founded in 1919 as a paint and hardware store,
UNITED COATINGS first began manufacturing paint
in the early 1920s. As coatings technology
evolved, UNITED developed a wide range of high
performance elastomers for use in roofing,
architectural and industrial applications.These
products are now marketed through our field
offices and representation on a national and
international basis.

UNITED COATINGS Today UNITED COATINGS has over
4,000 product formulations. Applications from
industrial wastewater to exterior wood
preservatives. Manufacturing facilities in
Spokane Valley, Washington andTempe, Arizona
products are shipped worldwide.

The Sustainable Roofing System
ROOF MATE is manufactured exclusively using 100
acrylic polymers. The result is a tight,
cross-linked finish that retains its physical
properties to provide long-term weather
resistance, UV and color stability, mildew
resistance and dirt repellency.

DIATHON
DIATHON is a high solids, 100 acrylic elastomer
coating, specifically developed for protecting
sprayed-in-place polyurethane foam insulation on
roofs and tanks from degradation caused by
exposure to normal weather conditions.

KYMAX
KYMAX is a low-build elastomeric coating that
provides the ultimate in reflectivity, color
stability and weather resistance over new or
existing roof surfaces. Although it is highly
flexible, it exhibits a tough, enamel-like finish
that resists abrasion, biological growth, dirt,
oil and all types of weather extremes.

ELASTUFF Urethanes Polyureas
The ELASTUFF 101/102 system is a
permanently flexible breathing membrane,
allowing moisture vapor from within the substrate
or building interior to escape though the
coating, while remaining impervious to mass water
penetration from the exterior. ELASTUFF 101/102
has been independently tested and certified to
exceed ENERGY STAR guidelines for reflectivity.
It also conforms to Cool Roof Rating Council and
LEEDS criteria for reflectivity and emissivity.
