Omniscience

• Gods omniscience involves not only Gods
  knowledge of us but also His knowledge of nature,
  the past, present and future. It involves
  everything that we would possibly imagine and
  much more besides. It is a knowledge that God
  has always had and will always have.

God's omniscience is INTUITIVE

• Isaiah 4013-14 (pg. 763)
• Job 382-7 (pg. 561)
• Thomas Watson Gods knowledge is primary, for
  He is the pattern and source of all knowledge
  from which others merely borrow.
• Talk no more so very proudly, let not arrogance
  come from your mouth for the LORD is a God of
  knowledge and by him actions are weighed, (1

God's omniscience is COMPREHENSIVE

• Psalm 1475 (pg. 667) and Hebrews 413 (pg. 1278)
• Little children, let us not love in word or
  talk but in deed and in truth. By this we shall
  know that we are of the truth and reassure our
  heart before him, for whenever our heart condemns
  us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows

God's omniscience is COMPREHENSIVE

• keeps watch on the evil and the good, (Proverbs
  153, ESV).

• In the divine omniscience we see set forth
  against each other the terror and fascination of
  the Godhead. That God knows each person through
  and through can be a cause of shaking fear to the
  man who has something to hide some unforsaken
  sin, some secret crime committed against man or

God's omniscience is PERSONAL

• But he knows the way that I take when he has
  tried me, I shall come out as gold, (Job 2310,
  ESV).
• As a father shows compassion to his children,
  so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear
  him. For he knows our frame he remembers that

God's knowledge is PURPOSEFUL

• But we see him who for a little while was made

God's knowledge is PURPOSEFUL

Things to be thankful for.

• He knows the worst about us. Yet He loves us and
  saved us.
• He knows the best about us, even thought that
  best may be unknown to any other person.
• He knows what He is going to make of us.

Things to be mindful of

• Since God is a God of knowledge, we should learn
  the importance of knowledge.
• Hypocrisy is foolishness.
• We can be encouraged in difficulties.
• What will you do with the God who knows
  everything about everything?
