Suomi Museum Development
From the first exploratory museum committee
meeting (of seven) in Jan 2006, this endeavor has
progressed to association with the UW Foundation
as well as publicizing its goal at the
celebration of 40 Years of Geostationary Weather
Satellites (6 Dec 2006). Sixteen committee
members (SSEC, CIMSS, AOS, CCR, ERSC, NOAA) now
work within funding, exhibits, or communications
sub-committees.
